Delaware County Community College is an institutional member of the Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER).  Each year CCCOER offers a range of professional development opportunities open and free to the open education community.  We encourage members of the Delaware County Community College community to attend these excellent webinars.

Aug 30:  Open Education Degree Panel

Celebrate Open Education Degrees and the Year of Open with CCCOER, the community of practice for open education, at our August online discussion panel.  The panel will feature key stakeholders in the emerging trend to offer degree pathways that use open educational resources and zero cost textbooks at North American colleges and universities in an effort to expand access and enhance teaching and learning.

Sept 13:  Starting OER Initiatives at your Institution (2:00 PM)

Join us for this webinar to hear from leaders at colleges who have been promoting the use of OER on their campuses for one to two years.  They will share steps for launching an OER initiative, including engaging faculty, and getting administrator buy-in to enhance teaching and learning through the adoption and use of OER.

Sept 27: Faculty & Librarians Selecting High Quality OER Together (2:00 PM)
